Katie is a licensed creative arts therapist and trauma-informed psychotherapist.
She received her MA from NYU in music psychotherapy and has completed post-graduate training
at the Institute for Contemporary Psychotherapy and the Parnell Institute for EMDR certification.

Katie trained in Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction, Sound Healing, and Reiki II and her work in sound and energy helps clients to feel connected using what she calls the 3 C's of mindfulness in therapy:
 creativity, compassion, and curiosity. 

Katie works with adults facing issues of
depression, anxiety, and symptoms of trauma. She is the lead music therapist for 
The Angel Band Project which provides free music therapy services to survivors of sexual assault and intimate partner violence in 6-8 week sessions in New York City. 

With over 15 years of clinical experience in adult mental health counseling, music psychotherapy, 
EMDR, and mindfulness,  Katie is able to help her clients navigate and understand patterns and provide 
new ways of thinking and feeling that facilitate a deeper connection to the self and our complex world.
