Drawing on decades of pioneering work in music therapy, sound work, free improvisation, and contemplative, embodied listening, Silvia and Katie open a space where the voice becomes medicine, and the body remembers its own wisdom.

Together, we sing, move consciously, and rejoice in spontaneous creation, awakening the deep intelligence of sound and music that unites us beyond words. Each day unfolds as an invitation to breathe, release, and reimagine yourself through 7 portals of transformational practice:

Release • Relaxation •  Awakening • Embodiment • Engagement • Expansion • Enchanting Silence

The week flows between group resonance sessions, Mediterranean meals, ocean swims, and the gentle rhythm of island life.At a time when the world calls for renewal and peaceful connection, this retreat offers a playful sanctuary: a place to restore, reflect, and rejoice through the healing power of music and creative listening. All voices are welcome. No experience in singing or improvisation is needed, only curiosity and the willingness to let your voice and intuition lead you home.

What you will experience

During the retreat, we will:

Activate the voice through ancient chant, medicine melodies, icaros, and Indian ragas

Explore embodied improvisation with extended vocal techniques and vocal play

Learn the language of Sound PaintingTM and embodied improvisational approaches

Engage in contemplative listening practices that deepen our sound presence

Unleash improvisational strategies that support joyful co-creation and songwriting

Here, the voice is not trained - it is remembered.

Freed from personal, social, and musical hierarchies, the voice becomes a conduit for neural coherence and creative intelligence, deepening our capacity for healing, performance, and authentic communication.

The 7 portals

With the 7 vital transformational portals, we will focus on the following:

Shedding emotional and cultural conditioning. Enjoying the spontaneous intelligence of improvisation. Embodying our voices as a spiritual practice. Collecting an original repertoire of healing chants. Reimagining our voices and inner music beyond limits.

Reawakening dormant parts of the creative self through the healing power of the voice and sonic resonance in the body.
